Study of the Value of Urinary Vitamin D-Binding Protein as a Prognostic Biomarker in Cases of Childhood Idiopathic Nephrotic Syndrome and its Relation to Calcium /Phosphorus Metabolism.

Introduction: Nephrotic syndrome (NS) is a common chronic kidney disease in childhood and it mostly idiopathic.  Aim of the Study: To determine if uVDBP measurements can be used as non-invasive prognostic biomarker cases idiopathic NS its relation to Ca/P metabolism.   Methods: This prospective study was carried out on children who were newly diagnosed with nephrotic presented pediatric nephrology unit, Ain Shams University hospitals during period from November 2019 till May 2020.  Results: The present showed that levels significantly higher than healthy control children. Conclusion: We conclude represent NS.
